Shipping & Returns

 Shipping (within the US)

So you can’t wait to get those adorable items you just bought? Rest assured we will do our utmost to get your order to you, as quickly as possible. Our goal at Birdie and Bo’s is to process your online orders within 3 business days of receipt. We ship Monday through Friday (excluding holidays). Though we try to get orders out as quickly as possible, some orders may take longer to process before shipping. If the merchandise you have selected is not currently in stock or if we need to confirm availability, we will contact you. We value our customer's trust and aim to provide the highest level of security possible. In some cases, additional information may be required to process your order. You may be contacted to verify your order information.

We ship to addresses within the Continental United States. A flat rate of $5.95 for standard shipping is charged on all orders under $50.00. All orders over $50.00 are shipped for FREE.

We use USPS as our carrier. It is faster, cheaper and more reliable than its competitors, plus, it delivers on Saturday.

All items are shipped from our Iowa store.  Orders are typically shipped out within 3 business days from the day you place your order. Please triple check your shipping address to make sure it is correct. We send your order to the exact address you provide and are not responsible for incorrect information.

All orders are shipped via USPS standard shipping unless another option is selected at checkout. Delivery times will vary depending on your shipping location.  Standard shipping typically takes about 5-7 business days from the ship date to arrive at your Continental United States address.
Shipping times are always an estimate. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee these time frames. Unforeseen events out of our control may lengthen the shipping time. 

Once orders are in the possession of the USPS we can no longer be responsible for any lost, delayed, stolen or damaged packages.  

The risk of loss or damage for all merchandise ordered on this website passes to you the buyer when the merchandise is delivered to our shipping carrier. In the unlikely event that your package is lost, stolen or damaged we are happy to provide any information we can to aid you in the filing of your claim.  

Please inspect all packages for damage before signing or accepting any delivery confirmation. If damage is visible from the outside, reject the shipment (being sure the driver notes the damage) and contact us as soon as possible. You must report any damaged or broken items to Birdie and Bo’s within 3 business days of the delivery date. Do not discard the packing materials that the item(s) arrived in. It is often essential to keep the packing materials in order to expedite a damage claim.

Multiple Shipping Addresses / Multiple Packages

To ship to more than one address, please create separate orders.  We make every attempt to ship your order complete with minimal excess packaging, however, in some instances, your order may arrive in multiple packages.

Local Pickup is Available

If you are in or will be in the area you can pick up your order(s) at our retail store in Charles City, IA. Simply select In-Store Pickup as your shipping option. Pick up your in-stock items during our regular business hours within 1 week of placing your order.

We want you to love, and be able to use, the items you receive.If your purchase doesn’t meet your wants and needs, we will exchange it or issue you a store credit (valid for 6 months). We can only accept exchanges or returns for store credit within 15 days of you receiving your order. Return packages must be postmarked with a date no later than 15 days from the original delivery date. Additionally, to qualify for an exchange or store credit the following conditions must be met:

  1. Item was purchased at regular price. (All sale items are final.  No store credit.)
  2. The item must be in it’s original condition, unused, unworn, unwashed, undamaged or altered.
  3. Packaging, tags and labels should be attached and in the same condition as received.
  4. Custom-designed items, personalized items, and other made-to-order items cannot be returned or exchanged.
  5. Underwear and Swimsuits cannot be returned or exchanged.
  6. All seasonal items and holiday apparel are final sale.
  7. All sale items are final sale.
  8. A Birdie and Bo’s Return Authorization Number has been issued and is included with the return. (see below for how to request)
  9. The Proof of Purchase is included with the return.
  10. The item has been returned within 15 days from the original delivery date.
  11. The Customer has paid for the shipping costs.
  12. The original purchase was from the online store. (Note: Our online store cannot process exchanges or returns for items purchased at our retail store.)
  13. Birdie and Bo’s reserves the right to refuse items for exchange when they do not meet the conditions set out above.  

Email us at: to request either an exchange or a return for store credit. Please clearly describe what you want to exchange the item for (size, color, etc.) so we can immediately check availability. Once we receive your request, we will provide you with a Return Authorization Number and the item availability. You will write the Return Authorization Number on an 8.5” x 11” paper and place it inside the package as well as write it on the outside of your package.  Items sent without a Return Authorization Number can be refused and sent back at the sender’s expense.

For your protection, we recommend that you return all items via a traceable carrier and method such as USPS, UPS, or FedEx. Birdie and Bo’s is not responsible for packages lost or not received. You are responsible for prepaying your return shipment; Birdie and Bo’s will not accept C.O.D. deliveries.

When we receive your approved return, Birdie and Bo’s will either ship the item you selected in exchange or issue you a store credit for the item purchase price, minus the cost of shipping. Unfortunately, we cannot refund shipping costs, and the return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.  This also applies to orders that have qualified for free shipping.

Any package that is returned without prior approval and unclaimed for 4 weeks, from receipt at our location, will become the property of Birdie and Bo’s.
